Canon Digital Photography Guide

canon digital photography guide
Is it safe to bring a nice camera to Italy?

I’m 16 years old, and will be in 11th grade in the fall. I am going with my school to Italy, Spain, and South France in March of 2010. I am very excited, although I have been to Italy and France before. I really enjoy photography, and I plan on purchasing a nice camera (possibly a Canon Rebel) very soon, with a wad of money I have saved up for quite sometime. I would love to take this camera to Italy, to get beautiful shots of the scenes as well as of me and my friends.

Do you think it’s safe to bring it there?
Do I have to worry about it being stolen, or lost?
We are traveling as a school group (roughly 40 kids), and we will be going with a travel agency as well as a tour company/director/guide for the whole trip.
Is it practical to bring this camera? Or should I just bring my little digital one?

Thanks!

You sound a little bit confused …let me think…lose it? Oh yes I guess you can lost things EVERYWHERE so it might be possible you lose that in Italy as well….stolen?Only if you meet Clint Eastwood on his horse during a shoot….seriously are you speaking seriously?Do you know what Italy is….a nation you know in europe we drive cars, we got houses and roads, we got jobs, shops (yes they sell your kind of camera as well here…shocking how we are “forward” arent we?..) and offices and even internet…where you think you are going? In the jungle? Give me a break darling but do you all americans get any education there?Families tell there how to behave? You are here doing a totally stupid and moron statement, insulting a whole country with your answer, you sound so nasty, rude and racist and you even don’t realize it? I mean are you all that rude over there? Do you really think this place is full of criminals or what?? Thanks god Italy is still one of the most SAFER place on this planet actually, for sure lots safer than yours for a start…shame on you and your rudeness!
By the way is safe if I come to Us or they are going to killing me in one of those terribles mass murders that happens continuos there? Have I to be scared or I will be alive at the end of the journey?
Cheers
SHUTTERBUG: what you mean “the fool that even dont leave the name” are you telling me that “shutterbug” is your name?
Please dont be ridiculos you sounds funny in this way…this dont make things changed if you want I can put my codice fiscale to make you feel better?…If I only dare to do a question like that in the Us answers you know better than me that they would linch me straight away and report me!…actually all the answers here been even too much polite and no one will ever erase this question like you do over there so shut up!…and I am allowed to feel offended as much as I want
about the “european pickpockets” (the most of them are gypsies not italians btw…) please really give it a life!…do you really think that this place is so full of pickpockets? yes there will be SOME in SOME areas but the way you are showing things seems that there are pickpockets EVERYWHERE and CONTINUOS!! Well thanks god is not!!…so don’t be ridiculous saing the question was “normal”
ahh..about the fact that you havent got pickpockets there in the “tourists spots” I have lots of DOUBTS about that..really get real darling…again you are very rude and you are offending a whole nation and the sad thing is that you dont even realize this!! Again the place is much much safer than yours and not full of people who are there just to steal things from you!
