What should I say when…?
I am going to be calling about open positions at graphic design or digital photography places (both careers I am interested in)..But I don’t know what to say when I call.
I am seventeen and my only experience is a year in a church office doing paperwork and answering phones. How do I make myself sound like a good candidate for open jobs when I have had no experience? I don’t want to be the photographer or anything, but I want an in studio job so I can learn.
No, I cannot apprentice because I have bills and no, I can not visit each and every photo place in my area.
My main question is, when they say “hello”, what do I say? “hi, I am looking for a job” seems kind of abrupt since they weren’t even advertising.
Help, please?
express to them what you can do/offer them since you dont have much experience,…..when you call…”hi this is******** i were calling to see if there are any openings or an address or number to fax my resume for employment……….but its always best to go in person if you have a specific place picked out, talk directly with the manager not the employee. but go prepared,.. resume, professional apperance.
