Need help with my photography project!?
My class went to “WACK! a feminist exhibit” we chose a work that we admired and we were asked to do a digital photo project on the artwork. we were supposed to make something similar to the artwork, or come up with something new that the artwork inspired.
I chose an artwork by suzy lake and it’s about 50 frames of a woman putting make up on. My understainding is that women spend so much time just to meet the public’s expectations and sometimes women are still looked lowly upon even when they try. So i took a few shots my mom washing the dishes, sweeping the floor, and putting on make up to kind of show how much work women go through while most men just sit around, drink beer, but they are looked highly upon even when they do not try.
I am now stuck, i have about 5 photos of my mom, what should i make them into to show feminism, or is there anything that i can add to it?
