Canon 18-200 IS or Sigma 18-200 OS on Canon 500d body?
So I’m an art student (my course includes a little photography and digital arts) and I’m looking for a dSLR. I’m planning on getting a 500d with 18-200 lens. I was supposed to buy Canon 500d Kit II, the one with 18-200 IS, when someone told me it’d be better to buy Sigma 18-200 OS. It would also be cheaper, he said. But I’m still unsure. Which should I get?
I and most of the regulars here would always recommend Canon for Canon. I have two Canon dslr cameras and my primary is the Canon 28-200 among others. Canon is always best for Canon.
The 500D is an excellent camera also, I own one and really like it.
