Does “frames per second” matter when photographing children?
I am starting a child photography business and I’m looking to buy a digital camera but I’m a little concerned about having a camera that shoots 3 frames per second as oppose to one that shoots 7 frames per second. Does anyone have any advice? Quality is an important factor.
Anticipating your shots is working smarter. 7 fps is not going to get you better shots. 3 fps is plenty but I don’t even use that setting when photographing children. I shoot single frame when shooting children. Anticipating the shot is your best tool – not the multiple frames per second.
