How can eBay sellers sell such expensive items at rock bottom prices? (UK ONLY)?
I realise they can get their items wholesale but I mean Photography gear mainly! They’re selling new high spec camera kit; A Canon 550D 18MP DSLR with 3 lenses ,A UV Filter, Two tripods, 8GB memory, Digital Flash and a few other goodies.
How can they sell them so cheap? I mean the camera alone is £700.00 from Jessops.
Can anyone shed some light on how they can do this so cheap?

I reckon they probably buy them in the US or another country where they have a low RRP. and ship them over here.. They probably avoid import tax to further drive down the price.
As for the accessories, they are usually very very cheap chinese wholesale lenses & filters and are nothing on the real thing, but useful none the less!
I would be wary of these listings as I am unsure if you get a warranty/guarantee from imports on camera.
