Where can I learn about film SLR photography?
I’ve wanted to learn about photography for a while but for financial reasons haven’t been able to invest in any kind of SLR camera to take this further – until I found an old Olympus OM10 SLR camera whilst having a clear out.
I’ve been looking for books aimed at the novice to act as an introduction to SLR photography, but everything I’ve found is aimed at digital photography. I will at some point get a DSLR camera, but its going to be quite a while before I’ll be able to afford one so I’m happy to use film for now.
How much of the content of these digital SLR photography books is likely be relevant for using film? Does anyone know of any books (maybe even out of print books I could try to get hold of) that can help me, or any useful online resources?
If its of any use I have the camera body, the standard 50mm lens, a 28mm wide angle lens and an 80-200mm lens.
