Could I get into USC or NYU?
I am currently a sophomore in high school. My cummulitive GPA right now is around 3.6 ~3.7. I am taking AP Calculus AB and Physics Honors next year for sure, and Chinese Honors next year or senior year. In senior year, I will be taking AP Statistics and hopefully AP Chinese along with AP Gov/Econ. I am planning on doing as much community service as I can, aiming for 100 by the end of summer. Sadly I didn’t take school seriously in freshman year and earned one C in Japanese 2. However, I am planning to send in an art portfolio consisting of my paintings, drawings, digital design pieces, and photography. I have not taken my SATs yet, but I am aiming for a 2100 ~ 2200. I am planning to take some SAT 2′s, like Math I and II. I did not join any clubs last and this year, which I regret now. But I am planning to take FBLA, Speech and Debate, photography club, and InDesign for the next two years. Do you guys think I have a shot at getting in USC or NYU?
USC and NYU are not hard to get into. They are alittle above average but i think you will be able to make it.
