What is a good Photography magazine that is more ‘how to’ articles rather than all photographs?
My brother is the hardest person in the world to Christmas shop for, but he mentioned a subscription to a Photography magazine would be nice. He is working on his technique and has a very very good digital camera with professional lenses and exposure films, ect. He is a quickly progressing amateur, but would like to better his skills. A magazine is good for articles, but most of the ones out there are all pictures. Any recommendations?
Thank you for your replies. I do appreciate them.
To comment on the latter subject, I do not allow email or IM to avoid stalkers, spammers, and other unwanted solicitation. I do have the answers emailed to me or I can check back under my own profile directly. Naturally since I asked a question, I will be looking into my answers. Again I appreciate the feed back, and although I live in the US, magazines ship worldwide.
Shame you didnt tell us what country you are in, and seeing that you dont allow IM or EM, the chances of you seeing this answer, or any answer given, are practically zero.
However.
Digital Camera Magazine, and you get a handy free gift if you subscribe, like a monopod.
Also, get him to join http://www.redbubble.com/ which is free and a gret help to photographers.
FAO Galan.
You should mind your own business, as that is not the reason why I say that.
I am fed up with anyone, not just girls, who dont give the IM/EM addy as they never bother to look at the answers given to them.
