How can i view examples of textbooks?
I will be teaching a digital photography class next semester and am trying to choose a textbook. Is there any way for me to physically examine, read, and compare different books without buying them? (no adequate library available and the online resources i’ve found have not been sufficient)
Most publishers are happy to provide you with a desk copy of the textbook you’re considering for your course. However, many publishers have become more strict over the last two years about qualifying the recipients of desk copies, so you may need to give them a campus address to ship the copies to, and they may reserve the right to call your school and verify your employment.
